JOEY SOCCER

Joey Soccer is an initiative of UWA-Nedlands Football Club that started in 2009. The program now has over 1000 children playing from 25 different schools on Saturday afternoons, during the Winter and Spring terms. Joey Soccer will run from May 2027. New schools are always welcome. Sessions will be run at College Park Nedlands*

The game format for Joey Soccer is based on the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) small-sided games (SSG) model. The teams play 5-a-side football with simplified rules. This format provides maximum fun with simplified rules and minimal emphasis on winning and a full focus on enjoyment. It is the perfect way for your child to enjoy the benefits of being part of a team, make friends and stay active.

JOEY SOCCER - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR 2027 WILL OPEN SOON

“I like playing with my team mates and having fun on the pitch because it is really fun to play with your team mates”

Matthew - Joey Soccer Player

“We have got four kids and have got three through and a fourth one in a couple of years, it is just a lot of fun. Kids out there running around, giggling, laughing, scoring the odd goal. It’s perfect.”
